How the founding beta works. If anything changes, we tell you before you start.

Where things stand

Eddy is a Mac beta that we are still testing.
Founding applications opened 1 November 2026. The 10 founding creators get the download first, once each one is picked.
Eddy runs on your own ChatGPT or Claude subscription.
Applying does not guarantee a spot.

Lennox hand-picks the first 10 creators to get Eddy free. He picks as good fits apply.
It is for solo creators who make talking-head or screen-recorded YouTube videos on a Mac with Apple silicon and 16 GB of memory or more.
Everyone who applies gets a reply, picked or not.
Use videos you can publish, with every permission you need. No confidential client footage.
Back up your originals before you start.
We aim to reply to support questions within two business days. That is a target, not a guarantee.

The 10 get Eddy free: the app and every v1 update, with no Eddy fee.
In return: a short video testimonial, permission to show your before and after, a 15-minute call each week for the first month, and an "Edited by Eddy" end card or description link on the videos you make with Eddy.
One person, not transferable.
You keep paying for your own ChatGPT or Claude subscription. Eddy runs on it, and that plan's limits apply.
Free covers the app and its v1 updates. It does not cover any future service Eddy might run for you on its own computers.
After the 10, Eddy is $49 one-time, and the price rises $10 every 5 buyers.
No card is needed to apply.

Your footage stays on your Mac.
The transcript, other relevant text and a few selected frames go to the AI provider you choose.

In return we ask for honest feedback on the weekly calls.
The testimonial and your before and after are part of the founding deal. We ask for each one separately, and we only publish what you agree to.
Diagnostics, call recordings and quotes are each opt-in. We ask for each one separately.
Diagnostics are optional. The plan is that you can preview them and redact anything before you send them.
Sharing footage with us, recording a call and publishing a quote each need their own separate consent.
Raw diagnostics are deleted 30 days after the issue is resolved. Shared media is deleted 30 days after the beta closes. Sooner if you ask.

These are the founding terms as of 17 October 2026, pending final review. We will confirm them with you before you get access.
